The price to sales metric will trend lower as sales grow in value and the rate of growth tapers off over thenext few years. The price to earnings ratio will become more of a focus for investors.
DW mentioned price to sales metric of 40 in a video when being interviewed by a stock commentater recently. Data suggests the market doesn't agree it is that high but if India smashes out high sales then the metric may well increase. We've been over $4 on much lower sales.
It's only one metric to keep your eye on. As sales become known I lock them in and only raise sales figures quarterly. Add to this I am estimating sales to July 6 months in advance and analysts projections vary markedly.
Bit of smoke and mirrors but a worthwhile exercise to get a gut feel for how the market is valuing the company. Keep in mind that the shorts don't appear to be covering but short sales as a % of daily volume appear to be reducing after a brief spike after $2.25.
I don't trade the stock and am overweight.
