Don't think there's any t/o rumour.
The rise has more to do with (imo):
1) the increased attractiveness of LNG as a result of the nuclear disaster - suddenly Pluto is not looking like a Disney dog any more!
2) The real threat of UN (USA) intervention in Libya after today's UN resolution. If this happens Will Gadaffi target his oil fields as a last, desperate measure? If so, what price will oil rise to?
Interesting times ahead.
