As at 5 June, TD Securities had an increased target of C$5.50 and as at 17 May, Euroz had a target of A$6 and they have disclosed that they are assuming $100/bbl over the life of the project. The last Ryder Scott valuation used POO assumptions of $101 for 2012 reducing to $91.24 from 2016. AUT has added to the reserves since that report. So, none of them have been working on a POO much higher than the current dip (MRO says that it secures a premium price over WTI).
If you are worried about the effect, now might not be the time to invest in oil stocks.
