Ravenshoe, NW of Tully. It's not just the rainfall amounts & gradient, some of the soil out that way turns to custard in the wet & has no bottom. You can't drive on it from Nov-Apr after the wet starts.
The big erosion issue would have been straight after clearing in year 1, vegetation grows back very quickly if given the chance.
