The stalemate is apparent on the chart... the cause of the stalemate is irrelevant (for pure TA).
This is one of those occasions where FA's can take advantage of the TA (and vice versa). Longs know the selling is minimal and artificially inflated as a result of the bonus options. They also know that this artificial volume ceases in ~a week...
