"...He started his war without negotiating..." False statement. The Russian government has been trying to avoid this scenario for years If not decades9. It did it's best to appease NATO. Going as far as allowing NATO to use Russian air-force bases, located within Russia, to move it's troops and goodies in and out of Afghanistan. More than NATO ever did for Russia, right? Can you imagine NATO countries allowing Russia to use it's territories to transport anything to anywhere? Nope.
