so progress in your sense what ? Democracy in a USA type? Perhaps British? Or maybe impose a 1920’s style German Republic after WW1 which Hitler was able to destroy. Take a look at what happened in Iraq ? Afghanistan ? China ? many South American Countries? Vietnam ?etc to see what Progress means when democracy is implemented or do you use the word progress to mean something else in this context?
