War has become a battle of capabilities. Russians winning run these days is primarily thanks to glide bombs that they have a plenty from soviet times. UKR answer to glide bombs, GLSDB failed in current electronic environment. If successful, GLSDB's although not as powerful, could outperform Glide bombs with its precision hits is a surface to surface bomb that can be launched by HIMARS launchers. No need of bomber planes. GLSDB is 1/20th of the cost of ATACM's but 1/3 lethal. GLSDB'are as old as glide bombs but if UAF can get them going would be a game changer. Biden recently OK'd sheet load of ATACMS to cover up for the failure of GLSDB's. Lets see if Ukraine ingenuity can surpass Boeing/SAAB and shift the pendulum even before new stocks arrive.
