To all the pro Kremlin pro war "peaceniks" who continue to assert the Kremlin "coup" lie, the short answer...

    There was no coup.

    The long answer...

    There was no CIA coup.
    There was no Nato coup.
    There was no US coup.
    There was no EU coup.
    There was no Nuland coup.
    There was no West coup.
    There was no Ukrainian coup.

The fact that the pro Kremlin pro war "peaceniks" cannot even agree who is responsible for the Kremlins "coup" lie is a major glaring fact that the story behind the Kremlin "coup" lie is simply a fabrication. This is simply a tactic to throw as much mud as possible and hope something sticks.

No evidence, not a single action taken by any one of these multiple groups has ever been presented that gives any credibility to the Kremlin "coup" beyond a tapped phone call of Nuland discussing the events triggered by Yanukovych in which none of her musings ever came to fruition, a tapped phone call discussing the events triggered by the man responsible for abandoning his own presidency.

That tapped call is supposed to be the "crown jewel" of evidence, a "crown jewel" that is such a meaningless insignificant irrelevant factor that came well after the start of Yanukovych's poor decisions and had no effect on any of Yanukovych's further poor decisions. To continue to promote the Kremlin "coup" lie using this as "evidence" shows quite a level of desperation.

US government officials taking part in protests? Different to official government statements in support of protests from the US? None. Another meaningless insignificant irrelevant act that had no bearing on the events, unlike Putin's massive election interference in Ukraine in 2010 and again in the US in 2016.

Yanukovych made one bad decision after another, not the CIA, not Nato, ot the US, not the EU, not Nuland, not the West and not Ukraine.

No one else but Yanukovych (and some meddling by Putin) decided to abandon the EU association agreement.
No one else but Yanukovych decided to unleash brutal violence against protestors resulting in the murder of approx. 100 protestors.
No one else but Yanukovych came up with anti protest laws fuelling more opposition against him.
No one else but Yanukovych pre planned an escape to Russia.
No one else but Yanukovych needed two attempts to flee Ukraine (with help from Putin).

Yanukovych's decisions and his decisions alone resulted in Yanukovych abandoning his presidency and felling Ukraine.

The Kremlin "coup" lie, a story that keeps changing who is responsible and with no credible nor tangible facts or evidence to support it. The reason for that is simple.

    There was no coup.
