Wrong. I have solar panels and solar hot water and they are very efficient and have never needed replacement for over 7 years. You miss my point that Australia is a small country, small population, expensive labour, small market for economies of scale.....that's why it's a wast of time and effort to build solar panels here because we will never be able to be competitive. We need high tech, limited market size, industries that are high skilled etc. to be competitive on the world market. eg. Specialised steel(we have the resources for it and they are cheap), AI robots for industry use age, medical technology( computing, it skills, medical and engineering professional, to produce high cost low volume goods for world markets.
