    It would appear zbusc, as you don't seem to accept that after Jesus, we are in spiritual times, that you totally miss many messages in the Bible.
    Many of them have dual meanings, 1 for back in Jesus's time, literal and 2 in the now times, spiritual.

    Spiritually - those of God hear God's word, he that is of God has seen God.

    You also need to LOOK into the Interlinear, for their definitions of their words.
    "See" should be read and understood often in the following context -> perceived, discerned, aware, experience, partake of.

    Hence the likes of Abraham, perceived Jesus's day (to be) that had not arrived in his time, as was glad.

    I may have already mentioned this, DON'T be fooled by the first and what appears to be the first understanding of a verse, you need to think deeper and keep the over all Bible theme in mind.
