it is very difficult to be sure of what is 'good' or 'bad', 'correct' or 'incorrect' these days with AI images, and the like
soon - it will be impossible for normal media uses to pick real from fake
IMO - media does need control
what control would be a different debate
if you saw what foul cretins posted on here about 'the perp was a Middle Eastern appearance' - in the Bondi stabbings - without a skerrick of evidence
besmirching the entire Muslim community in it's foul inference that being ME would more than likely mean Muslim -------------
and being TOTALLY WRONG and that the idiot couldn't even 'spot the aussie'
then, that kind of trash needs control - and IMO - the authors of such garbage should receive permanent suspension from the platforms on which they post
