Once the grey nomads controlled the market. If a stocks fundamentals changed for the positive then the stock went up, or for the negative it went down.
Now the market us dominated by younger people millenium or gen x, dont know the right title, but these are the people who got there degrees online where noone fails, the type that paid for there essays to be written for them. When the grey nomads who worked there way up the ladder to high paying positions and did the hard yards to get there retired, there jobs were taken by those young kids with paper qualifications and no clues. They are cluelessly trading on the stock market with no idea what they are doing, same as they do in their job.
Thats why our markets are so erratic. Its not market maniulation as some imagine.
