Marx was light years in front of others in his ability to understand the world he lived in and think about how things could be.

He would think totally differently today - and think about where we are and what is coming

when one gets visionaries like Musk who are struck dumb, fresh out of ideas for how our economies will run when we get only a short way down the technology track - where he says 'I don't even know if we can call it an economy'

then, we know we have a problem ---------- and to me - I think that the calibre of thinkers like Marx - could help.

Some of us may not like what the ideas and systems were that grew out of his thinking in some cases - but, what is certain is that he was so far in advance of anything else - it was astonishing

Marx was light years ahead in the world "he" lived in.....that's nice for him.....but "schools of thought" and "collectivism" which aim at engineering society in a particular direction has never turned out well, are you suggesting we try it again.
