You put the same Nissan link up with a couple of videos that I never look at. Pacemakers are usually single use batteries which is a completely different subject. Non rechargeable SSBs have been around for years.

With all due respect if you are comparing SSBs with a hugely complex (for the time) 60 year old American government space program with live astronauts that would have been a world wide publicity disaster if it failed you really are clutching at straws.

I am all for SSBs. When they arrive all the arguments against EVs will evaporate but I have seen many announcements that are really just hot air and IMO a pilot production line with the actual product still 4 years away is just another one. IMO we will see mass production SSBs in less than 4 years but it won't be from Nissan (or Toyota).
