Saw a Job advertised (in aust) for an investment firm/bank not long ago and one aspect of the job description was to know when to apply trading algorithms to stocks and to know when to switch them off. The above trades is these algo's/bots being applied to TMT. IMO it's a positive but frustrating as price wont go anywhere until they decide to switch the bot off. Seen it on hundreds of stocks so this is not unusual.
