Israel really had no choice but to develop such a defence system. They have been under attack a damn lot longer than since October last year.
It seems wherever the Jewish people go they have been hated, and I have never really understood why. I have never been insulted by or spat on by anyone Jewish, but I certainly have been by those of the "religion of peace".
