Really? Funny I would have thought that was exactly what they want to know, he's a witness giving evidence to a direct question based on events from 8 years ago. No one expects anyone to be 100% certain of what they recall from 8 years ago. If he said he was definite about something to a certainty it would be less credible.
All this is very colourful but pointless as it's the jury that decides not commentators.
