Meanwhile, back in the real world...the worst case for DT I see is the SCOTUS tosses it back to the lower court for THEM to set some sort of measures on the level of immunity

So sad for the Dems. That means there be close to a zero chance the trial goes ahead before the election and that's just another nail in their election strategy driven home.

The Vice President certifies the Presidential result not the sitting President.
Overseeing the Presidential election is not within the President's duties unless you are a dictator like Trump's buddy Putin.

So no a sitting President isn't allowed to change the democratic election result so that he wins office again with complete immunity.

The man crying 'they stole the election' was trying to steal the election himself.
Trump accusing others of acts he was actually committing at the same time, where have we heard that before?
