What a complete farce the cost of a slab of beer is in Australia...About $20 I believe goes straight to the government. And we actually cop this BS. Beer is a pretty simple drink. I thought I would not pay more than $50 a slab..but now it is tough to find under $60 Where does it end? Same for fuel. FFS for how long do governments get away with stealing from those THEY work for. We are right royally rogered right up the fandango. This latest inflationary spiral is directly responsible for an ever increasing crime wave of theft and burgleries. The lucky Country...yeh nah not so much.
