Flare could be the next interest rate rise - when it makes an impact 6 - 12 months after the fact. Or any one of the ten previous interest rate rises yet to bear fruit. It's a bit like when someone farts in the lift and you don't smell it for 2-3 seconds afterwards. You think it will be ok and then suddenly it's not. They had curried egg salad the day before.
