the only reason I can think why is that Labor had decided to attempt a rescue of Ozzie reputation - which Morrison had beautifully tarnished by having us as 'deal breakers' and cannot be trusted
but, I did hope that maybe Labor expected the deal to go arse up in a couple of years anyway
