That is absolute bs. You cannot make a 3d printed plastic gun without a properly rifled barrel. The cheapest metal 3d printer starts at $50k and the barrel would still require an experienced machinest to operate the lathe. I understand the Polices apprehension regarding 3d printed guns as these things will explode and quite possibly fatally injure those around. Its not so much that its a gun, but more an IED mine.
