It seems the strategy is to collapse the regional banks and consolidate the sector into the top few in preparation for the launch of the centralised digital currencies. I guess allowing the people to escape the net into precious metals would pose a serious threat to that captivating strategy.
Nice run in pm's last night but unfortunately they got knocked back into submission as quickly as they flew, but there appears to be increasing interest in the haven metals.
