'Palestinians' are not an ethnicity, nor a race, nor a historical national identity. The only thing that unites those who currently identify as 'Palestinians' as opposed to Israeli is NOT that they are people who descend from individuals living in the Land of Israel in the early 20th century.
There are many Muslims who descend from those same people who do NOT oppose Israel.
So what unites those who currently identify as 'Palestinian' in opposition to Israel? Their genocidal desire to destroy Israel and genocide Jews from the Land of Israel, or ethnically cleanse Jews from the Land of Israel (at best), is what uniquely defines 'Palestinian' identity. Nothing else.
