Have I made an error in getting acquainted and dining with Jewish couples on cruises.
I been to Russia a number times and found the people reasonably friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. Trouble is that fear is so ingrained that intelligent are easily manipulated!
My opinion of some Jews and definitely Israel, has changed since my visit to Israel in 2017- I told a fib to 822 about it only being my family and a friend that travelled thru Israel and the West Bank. Basically we followed our travel on Tony Wheeler’s book - originally owner of the Lonely Planet - the “The Bad Lands” thru Israel and the West Bank.
I felt that most of my life has been manipulated by the Jewish diaspora and Israeli propaganda machine, and since the advent of the internet, people can search for the truth.
I found it interesting that people come with different opinion’s of Israel, depending if it is an independent trip or organised tour. My.neighbour did an organised religious tour and never saw or experienced anything like we had experienced.
Like lining up with Palestinians thru entering the cattle turnstile to get thru the Great Wall of Israel…. we wanted to go to Ruth’s tomb. we weren’t even allowed to wait our turn to go thru security but were ushered by security to the front of the line.
I took a couple of photos of a Palestinian family needing to exit their home thru a back house window - I obliged to the father’s request to delete the photo that showed his wife egressing thru the window. The front door street was exclusively to be used only by Jews!
Because of 822, avoidance to simply answering some questions and badgering me to do my own research. I followed his suggestion to research and commented to him that modern day Jewish/Israel history is like the TV series, ”The X-Files” and that ‘the truth is out there!
And another fact is that supporters of Israel, keep saying that Egypt built the wall along Gaza to keep the Palestinians out off Egypt..
It actually was built to keep African refugees from entering Israel!
