As we know manufacturing can only compete with Asia if we have
either low wages or a low cost energy source . Wages have stagnated
over 10 years under Liberal rule and are now only starting to rise . That
leaves Energy . The East Coast has a amazing opportunity in PEP11 for
a very cheap energy source , which could provide gas for the East Coast
and beyond for the next 30 years .
This project should be getting fast tracked instead of being used as a
political football by some North Shore Teals. PEP11 could sort out the
East Coast gas problem and be a benefit to all Australians.
