This has left the field of reason, the rules aren't in play any more. Elbo has always thought he can play cute with "doing it by the book"... "proper process" etc. He's using the only tool he has control over.... he's hedging by doing nothing......by stalling.

By the rules the Federal Minister can just do what she wants. She has power of veto. Its really only a nicety, a deference to etiquette by not having done so.

This isnt about real courts now.... its the court of opinion, it's the realm of risks. Do the Gov (fed ) want to end up looking like idiots. Do they want egg on their faces. Or do they want to appear masterful,on trend...ahead of the pitchforks ?? Do they want to be instrumental in the solution or just part and parcel of the problem ?

No one really cares what NSW thinks.... they have no credibility in this...among the worlds largest exporters of coal do they think they seriously have currency telling anyone else what to do ??

The decision is about politics, make no mistake. In politics you have to play politicians at their own game and that game is public opinion....the path of votes.

Someonr needs to have a whisper to the Governments steet lackies... Either do something ( and by something...read approve).... or this indnustry will create merry hell. The Energy Industry if it wanted to call pull the capet irreparably away from under the feet of the Canberra Clowns.

All they have to do is saturate media with the truth... not for a long period...just a quick thrust through the heart of the "rhetoric ".. expose the LIES.

There is enough damage control ability once people understand they're being conned, taken for idiots etc.

The game is to let the Gov know...it's their call..... and now. Otherwise pretty soon they will be looking for corks....and there's just too many Elephants looking to unload.

The Gov are playing outside the boundary line.... thats where you have to take them on.
