Health Minister Sussan Ley forced to repay taxpayer-funded travel for three Gold Coast trips

Health Minister Sussan Ley has been forced to repay four travel expense claims for trips to the Gold Coast, including one where she bought a $795,000 apartment, and submit her travel for review by the Finance Department.
After days of embarrassing media coverage, Ms Ley has been forced to concede the multiple trips did not meet ministerial standards and that Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull had told her they were inappropriate.
"I apologise for the error of judgement," she said in a statement.
Health Minister Sussan Ley is facing calls to provide a full explanation of her trip to the Gold Coast or resign. Paul Jeffers
