    hahahehe lappie. what a lark.

    I stopped the visiting ministrations of the proselytisers by stealing one of their own.

    I invited them in, made a cuppa, and proceeded to cast doubt on their gospel by comparing these with buddhist similarities..... one of 'em cracked it and asked me lots of questions..... they hurriedly drank the tea and made their departure.

    never seen 'em since.

    but yes religious freedoms. they already pay no taxes. have influence with susceptible MPs.

    but I doubt it'll be any kind of renaissance. if Albanese is sensible he'll be the best bet to avoid giving increased influence. and at least the current parliament is so eloquent, when they gt away from the official opposition, that the x-bench could put suitable amendment(s) that might get it through the house.
