"With a low cash balance is that not demonstrative of confidence?"

Geez, you have to be kidding, right? Think back to the last CR - they did the same thing - Basically ran down the cash reserves to basically petty cash and then had to run a heavily discounted and hasty CR. Not a sign of confidence at all - more of a sign of very ordinary financial management skills.

Yes, a CR WILL be required. It could well come before the end of the financial year or early next financial year. They need to increase the cash on hand to cover on-going costs.

Another point is that, even if some deal comes into play, there would be a delay and it will probably only be partial funding for a phase 3 trial. Any further delays with trial results will only increase the need for a CR. That delay in any commercial deal will still occur even if the final results turn out to be brilliant.

In any case, there is not going to be a miraculous TO offer from BP. Without the results, they have nothing to negotiate with to make any deals.

Surely, you can't be that much out of touch with reality not to understand this situation? It is not complex at all. In fact, the market has already indicated as much. They have factored in a CR.

Why do you continually ignore what others are telling you? Why do you insist on ignoring the clear facts in front of you?
