A rational argument would be preferring a minor dilution event in order to access non interest bearing funds - especially during this start up phase. Repaying debt on interest bearing funds when revenues could be minimal - places the company into a perilous operating position.
If I were a holder - I would choose minor dilution every day of the week over high interest bearing loans without a gaurantee of revenue (in the short term) in order to repay !
