In the US, Model 3 lost the $7,500 tax credit because it uses batteries imported from China.
Therefore, Model 3 costs more than Model Y and demand is down.
In China, the competition is strong.
Buyers want a luxurious interior but Tesla insists on not providing that.
However, the competition does.
Therefore BYD sells more pure EVs in China than Tesla.
Now Xiaomi SU7 sales might also surpass Model 3 sales.
