mmm the majority of indonesians are muslim (ok forget indonesia as a market for australian wine ) .. so their sympathies would be with the palestinians ..

the best thing for australia to do - would be to pursue an independent foreign policy, withdraw from aukus/anzus - and tell the americans to depart pronto .. ie close down pine gap - and all other american installations ..

americans already have majority ownership of australia's top companies .. so much so, that if australia was ever remotely threatened - the americans would act to protect the interests of their corporates

(and by then america would be too weak anyway .. so forget that )

watso is convinced that australian prosperity would be enhanced by being neutral

aussies r definitely NOT good friends with Indonesia.

Dont forget what aussies did in east timor, thats a major relation ending move. And all the spying lol. They will remain as “friends” on the surface. But when it comes to choosing sides its pretty obvious they will be on the opposite side.
