I tend to think that it is likely some kind of propaganda out of China with a very different motive in mind....but then again, I could be wrong.

Right on mate. I don't know what's really going on but I do know that 1M tonnes of lithium carbonate doesn't just come online, to market like that.. Also I do know that Lithium won't go back down to $16,000/t.. That is purely dreaming, with the supply/demand gap we're dealing with. Interesting that both these reports are released on the same day..
