as a side note, at the award ceremony, when the two co-directors got on stage to receive awards, there was one german female minister in the audience very close to the stage who said that she was applauding only (clapping hands for) the israeli director (yuval) and not basel. this was reported in the press and other media. this is germany for you these days. very sad really...
