The clinical trial, partnering and approval process is notoriously slow. Have a look at companies that only do this and you'll see it's unfortunately quite common. As you say though, there are numerous 2RT trials underway at the moment which should deliver results quite soon, and that should hopefully be key to kicking off the partnership and pivotal trial.
However it's for this reason why I'm very glad that EYE has iTrack Advance to keep the market happy, and isn't reliant on only 2RT. With iTrack Advance performing so well, 2RT simply presents an option for investors to benefit from all that potential upside if/when it does eventuate, without any of the downside (as the price should go up regardless thanks to iTrack Advance).
