farmers don't want gas fields in tie paddocks but they see the benefits of a couple of towers or some rows of PVAs. just so long as they don't have any problems with their business.
but the siting is already decided. in former coal generator sites. a 20 years loss of energy production if all goes well. the surrounding towns of Eraring will benefit from the changing work available. great plan if you think about it. is perhaps if they hav thought of it, they'll manage this as a central pillar of their election campaign.
