The LNP can't evolve. They have a strict criteria of talking/policy points permitted by the business/religious (which really are the same thing) lobbies, and as long as keeping these same stakeholders happy is their top priority they won't be able to change. I'm going to assume that there's a slew of Faustian bargains made for anyone to shimmy high enough up the greasy pole to be boss of that rats nest. If the priority was representation of constituents and operating with integrity, we'd have seen less inter-office affairs (Barnaby), sexual assault (Higgins/posse of desk masturbators that Credlin has admitted she was aware of), prayer room debauchery (was this Pine?) and "hacked" accounts sharing porn (both gay - Pine - and straight - Kelly). Clearly it's a party based on nepotism (20-something year old uni dropout senior advisors with wandering hands that also attend hillsong) and putting the cheapest possible price on your soul in order to draw the eye of Rupert or Gina...
