LD, I noted that the presentation talked about the low level og silica and alumina impurities. But these are not bad impurities, they just reduce the efficiency of the process. There was no mention of the impurities phosphorus and sulphur that make the steel crap. Also, you can only get crap steel from melting scraps iron.
