Shares in Appen hit a record low on Monday after the struggling data services company announced it was replacing current boss Armughan Ahmad by chief operating officer Ryan Kolln.
Ahmad resigned after 12 months in the top job attempting to turn the company’s fortunes around.
Shares dropped 4.7 per cent to 26.7¢ and fell as far as 26¢ intraday. They have nearly halved this year.
