Yes, obvious AVZ can't be held responsible for what some shareholder activists have been doing however public opinion in country matters and the actions of some have caused significant harm to the interest of the company and its shareholders. We are starting to see this now.
We have all seen the posts here encouraging posters to get directly involved via social media. If the complete and utter lack of respect, name calling, racial slurs etc that can generally be witnessed here on a daily basis are anything to go by we can be absolutely certain that encouraging HC posters to engage the DRC community directly via social media can only end badly.
Like most here I hope that some aspects of this article aren't true however history suggests that continuous disclosure is one of the weak point of this company so we may not know for some time. It is suspended from trading because of refusing to comply with continuous disclosure after all.
Again, I hope this isn't true but its eye opening.
