During the run-up to last year's federal election Mr Albanese said he could deliver a lotus-eater's (organic of course) paradise. Serious thought was given to introduce legislation to stop people from getting about with broad smiles on their faces. Mr Albanese was promoted as having unmatched qualities: the quintessence of a good leader. Instead he stands idly by while raids are conducted on our pay packets. Mr Albanese, the unabashed philodox has been replaced by Mr Albanese, the accident prone dill. I would like to see his resignation presented to parliament by close of business Friday, 10th February.

Aleading opposition politician has blasted Anthony Albanese and asked him 'where is the plan?' on delivering cheaper mortgages for Australians.
Deputy leader of the opposition Sussan Ley mocked the Prime Minister with an edited clip of his campaign launch speech which he delivered in May last year ahead of the election.
In the speech, Mr Albanese promised: 'Labor has real, lasting plans for cheaper electricity, cheaper child care, cheaper mortgages and cheaper medicines and Medicare.
'However, on Wednesday, Australian home borrowers were smashed with a ninth straight interest rate rise, sending the cost of their mortgage payments spiralling.
