Why are Zelenski and his mates trying to ignite WW3? That is easy to answer. To destroy the USSR and Russian archives before the Chinese are able to access them. Otherwise in ten or fifteen years China will use these archives to inject itself into the ME as “an honest broker”. Many UN member countries will support a Chinese peace keeping mission to the ME, mainly because they have had a gut full of being lectured to by the sanctimonious West. Yes, these records will show that the USSR was part of the problem, but Russia can argue that Russia isn't the USSR in the same way that the USA isn't the Confederacy. Russia can shield itself from blame by releasing all the dirt it has on the West and Western politicians and this will help Russia in it's relations with China.In a few months time, when the Ukraine has totally collapsed the people who are left will start looking for scapegoats in the same way as the German's did immediately after WW1. And which families are likely to have shielded their menfolk from the Russian meat grinders? When that becomes the common meme the West will be in a no win position.
