!! Snowy 2 takes electricity, then, relatively inefficiently stores it and they (relatively inefficiently) releases what remains of the original electricity back to the grid. Snowy 2 was not an updated version of Snowy 1. It will never produce a Watt of electricity. It just consumes electricity. It is required because wind and solar electricity is often useless. Snowy 2 just acts as a battery to store some of this relatively useless renewable electricity.
